There is a very angry thread going on at the Digital Point forums, with several people complaining they had their digg accounts disabled. There have been several other similar threads at other major forums.

What does this mean for Social Marketers?

It means that the content you submit to digg as linkbait needs to be even better now. It doesn’t look like Digg is messing around and they are trying to stop corruption from outside webmasters and supposed “gaming” of the system before it ever gets out of hand.
