I’ve always been a domainer, ever since I can remember. Some people golf, some people collect dozens of other things, I collect domains. The aspect of flipping your portfolio for a huge ROI is the driving force behind most domainers.
I’ll admit, I am one of the people who is buying up ccTLD’s left right and center. There are still some outrageously good investments to be made right now, even for reg fee. In the hurting economy you can also pick up some really solid ccTLDs in the aftermarket right now.
With the internet growing leaps and bounds in other countries, and the localization of domains in each country holding trust with it’s citizens. the ccTLD’s for each country are going to drastically increase in value every year. I suspect the people who load up on ccTLD’s right now are going to be laughing all the way to the bank when the market catches up. People like Rick Latona, and this next guy who is making $3k/day parking ccTLDs that were bought at reg fee.
What countries to look for? Anything that has short premium domains left in developed or developing countries are fair game, imo.
